The Young Professionals Forum offers a variety of year round opportunities for professional networking and socializing with fellow members who are interested in world affairs. The Young Professionals Forum will be hostiing the following:

Great Decisions Discussions
The Young Professionals Forum will be hosting a series of discussions over three months based on the PBS television series Great Decisions 2009. All are welcome.
Price of admission for the whole series is $60 for members and $65 for non-members (this includes the Great Decisions 2009 briefing book). Individual sessions cost $10 for members and $12 for non-members. Topics and dates of sessions are as follows:
- September 10: "The US and rising powers"
- September 24*: "Afghanistan and Pakistan"
- October 8*: "Human rights in a new era: wars for peace?"
- October 22: "Cuba on the verge"
- November 5*: "Egypt: key ally in the Middle East"
- November 19: Environment and Foreign Relations:
- "Energy and the Global Economy"
- "The Arctic Age"
- Global food crisis"
Snacks and drinks will be provided at each session.
The book can be purchased on its own. All orders for the briefing book (whether by itself or through a full signup) must be submitted no later than September 4.
