Mission

The San Diego World Affairs Council, founded in 1954, is dedicated to serving the citizens of San Diego by providing educational programs and activities focusing upon international relations, economics, politics and the culture of people in foreign countries. The dissemination of information about world events and their impact upon the United States foreign policy is recognized by the Council as necessary for the creation of a community that thinks globally. We are a member of the World Affairs Council of America, which consists of 86 councils across the United States.

The Council is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, and all contributions to it are tax-deductible.
